About
FlirtyVideoChat is an independent review site covering random video chat — the platforms that connect you to a stranger on camera, usually with the promise that you’ll meet women worth talking to.
Why we built it
Most coverage of this category is worthless. It’s either a list of affiliate links dressed up as a ranking, or a review that never mentions the one thing every reader actually wants to know: does this cost money, and are the women on it real people?
Those two questions decide whether a platform is worth your time, and they’re the two questions the existing coverage is least honest about. So we built a site that leads with them.
How we review
Every platform goes through the same rubric, and every review answers the same core questions in plain terms:
- Is it free? What you get without paying, what the paywall actually costs, and how fast you hit it.
- Are the users real? Whether we found live people, recycled video loops, bots, or a mix — and how we could tell.
- Is it safe? Moderation quality, what happens when you report someone, and what data the platform collects.
- Who is it for? Because the right answer is different for someone who wants a gender filter than for someone who wants to spend nothing.
Ratings match the write-up. If a review reads negative, the score is low — we don’t publish a warm 4.5 attached to a lukewarm verdict.
How we make money, and what it doesn’t buy
We earn a commission from some of the platforms we feature. That’s how the site pays for itself, and we disclose it on every review and in full on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
What it doesn’t buy is a rating. No platform can pay to rank higher, pay to soften a verdict, or pay to have a bad review taken down. A commercial relationship is a reason to disclose — it isn’t a reason to lie to you, and a review that reads like an ad is worth nothing to anyone.
What we won’t do
We don’t invent live-user counts. We don’t publish fake testimonials or made-up statistics. We don’t run “someone just joined” popups. If we haven’t verified a number, it doesn’t go on the page.
